A DAY IN ST. BARTHS

As many of you may know, I'm currently vacationing in Anguilla. This has been one of the most amazing trips I've ever experienced. The island is absolutely beautiful. Yesterday, I had the chance to visit St. Barths for the very first time. I flew to the island with Chris Lighty and his wife, and a group of friends, who are also vacationing with us.

I never quite understood what the hype of St. Barths was all about. That was until I stepped off the plane yesterday. As soon as I walked out of the airport, I ran into Sylvia Rhone. After having a brief conversation with her, the great Russell Simmons walked up and I was able to converse with him about the beauty of the island and what I should expect to see. At that point, I realized that I needed to walk around the island to fully understand it's beauty.

I have been vacationing in St Barths for many years. I am a sailor and have sailed all around St Barth's, St. Maarten, Anguilla, and as far south as Antigua. Anyway, I have spent a lot of time in the Caribbean and I just wanted to say that your photos are awesome! I really enjoyed them and they brought back some great memories of my last trip. Thanks for sharing.

Your aerial shots came out so clean. Nice work D.

Greetings King,

BEAUTIFUL!
I really enjoyed the pics! They took me away from cold ass Indiana for a minute lol. Wish I was there, can't take America too much longer. I know there is a lot of the world out there to see and I am ready. Keep the pics coming until I get away. Love to see some pics of Africa. I am an African born in America so I

Go skinny dipping for me. I am craving an island right now!

D,

I cannot stress enough how proud I am of you. Of your growth! From a rapper to tech wiz to hottest celeb DJ (ya hear me AM???) and lifestyle photographer. What else you got up your sleeve?

This blog will surely serve as an inspiration to all of your peers and fans that you should NEVER limit your creativity to just one plane. When you've got hot ideas, just do it! Execute it! Whatever medium works for you to express whats in your head, get to it!

Gordon Parks has shown our & future generations that you should not limit yourself to one facet of the arts. Other facets will open doors for other experiences such as you chilling/working in St Barths with Russell Simmons, etc...thats HOT!

Keep up the good work. Dont ever think about the hatas (if there are any) Theres too many other poepl like myself that needs the inspiration.

Have a Happy New Year.

It just puts into perspective how beautiful God's earth really is, and how easy it is to lose sight of that when you get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Do you...you've had a wonderful year and what a way to finish it off!

I wish you a new year full of Blessings.

-Grei

This looks very tranquil. I it amazing to see other places in the world other than the "hot spots" that are always traveled. I am an old fan, 31yrs and am glad to see you doing well. You know sometimes we forget the names & faces but always remember the songs, or you wonder what happened to people. God bless you bro, am proud to see a rapper do something different and be successful. You are one of the people my son needs to meet and realize that the glamour and glitz are the perks of hard work. 1 Love.
