um...i still want to ma pictures black and white

Truly stunning black and white images.

Beautiful work.

I love the picture "old balance", I think that one would be my favorite next to "lil scappy" but black and white photography is classic and hot.

peace

Your work is phenomenal. You have a natural talent for photography.

D,

Wow
I just heard one of your songs on AOL Radio and decided to Goggle you. It’s good to see you again.

Back in the day, you were my first interview as a V-jay and Hip Hop television Producer.

Your photography is quite incredible. What brought you to the point to pick up a camera? You have quite a gift there. Keep in touch and keep shooting.

D((((((((((( very impressive my brother. From an old school photographer from back in the day. I see you're giving me competition, but its good competition. You have a good eye brother, keep it up. I have shot many photos of you from back in the day, an would love to catch up with you again. give me a call. irving 917 609 4768.

Can't Keep A Good Man Down...Please contact for possible Photo Exhibit in Hartford. Hip Hop Needs You ,especially since Gordon Parks has passed.

p.s. i am definitely spreading the word!

Real nice photos yo. i see a real talent here. like i didnt know it was up on this type-caliber (forgive a dude for sleepin LOL). you have a real good eye. do u take the same approach as u did with music? cuz art is relative whether it be audio or visual and these are definitely top shelf material. i hate when people say "this guy is the new so and so" but i really wanna say you are the "gordon parks" of our time. being that u are also a "made-man" in the game, you have access to alot of the behind the scenes. keeep documenting our history brother. i will be a regular here. peace.

Beautiful work, D! I'm especially liking the one entitled Old Balance...Congrats on the Black Weblog Award as well... :-)

Peace, Just wanted to commend you on the great photography work. Please continue to share your gift with us. It is appreciated and admired.

Wow, I was just thinking how long it's been since Ive heard "to tha rescue" and was gonna try and find the album again. Funny change of career's...but awesome pics. Definately nice.

WOW, I had know idea you were a photographer. You do excellent work. I especially love the Brooklyn Bridge picture. I'm also from New York
(Coop City). It's funny that I found your website because I tell everyone you are my favorite rapper of all time, but noone knows who you are. I'm glad to see you are doing well. I'm glad to here that the TR808 is back on the scene. Peace!

HEY D I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WAS THIS NICE WITH A CAMERA.I THINK YOUR PICTURES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M RIGHT THERE IN PERSON.SOME OF THE PEOPLE ON HERE BRING BACK A LOT OF GOOD MEMORIES.KEEP UP

my favorites are the 1st self portrait, diddy doing the diddy-bop, old balance, evil dee and the waffle house.

Diddy- good subject matter.

The evil dee- great contrast.

The waffle house- looks like a shot out of an italian mobster flick. Everyones around the table, lined up, waiting for the Godfather to speak.

D nice on the camera device.

After seeing a couple of your galleries, I felt as though another Derrick needed to get behind the lense. I tried a few things- check it out and tell me what you think.

D...as usual, tight work kid. In each of the images you feel that you were the person behind the lense. I'm right there with you. Good sh*t. Keep it comin'.

I don't care what you take pictures of, it could be the crack of my A$$ and you still make it look good. Ha!!! You make me appreciate photography even more and more and this why history & memories are so important....God bless you & yours

I was wondering whatever happened to you and what you were doing now. I just watched your "My Name is D-Nice" video on VH1 Soul and did a search under your name. I am glad I did.

You have a GREAT eye. I have not had the chance to view all of your work but from what I have seen, I am impressed. You are very talented. Your website has been added to my favorites. I look forward to viewing some more of your work.

True Hip Hop as seen through the eyes of D-Nice . . .

These are amazing. You captured images in (raw) black and white and gave each one a classic and poetic appeal (even more than color photography would have). THEY ALL LOOK GREAT!

I love your work behind and in front of the camera. Keep working your crafts.

Your work if a gift from GOD I love your work Be bless, and let GOd continue bless your with more.

I've got the chills here...Why? Because the photos of Diddy and 50 were already embedded in my head...I was there when those photos were taking and I'm sitting here looking at history!

You are an amazing artist/photographer...Keep making history!

I must say, I'm feeling the Waffle House!!

CUZ.....help me out! How in the hell do you get your self portraits so good, do you use a timer and tripod???? u dont have to post this, but your shit comes out so nice, like someones taking them for you!

Man, the shots were beautiful. I love the ones of Malinda, Lil Scrappy, Sway and "Writings on the Wall". Oh yeah, that Evil Dee one was fiyah!!! Put ya lighters up!!! Bo, Bo!!!

Dude, you really should start submitting your work to the Source and XXL and some of these other mags. They need a camera person with your eye real bad!!!!

You are my hero D. Very inspirational.

DUKE! THE DRIVE BY WAS SICK. (I'VE BEEN TO JA. A FEW TIMES IN THE HOOD, YOU CAPTURED IT) BUT SOME OF THESE WILL BE MY WALLPAPERS IN THE COMING WEEKS. KEEP SNAPPIN, GOTTA SHOW YOU MY LIL DIGITAL WHEN I SEE YA. PEACE. N THANX FOR THE DOPE SHOTS.

Thanks for bringin it to us, those of us who don't have the luxury to travel to follow your exhibits and parties:) we appreciate it.

I wish I could be one of that (100) number of bloggers that you will photograph...I would LOVE to be photographed by you! however, life has made other demands (i.e. children, husband, career) so there is no way I'll make my 1st trip to NYC to make that happen anytime soon. But I think that is a very nice gesture. Do Yo Thang!!

Nice photography. What kind of camera/cameras do you prefer?

I am SPEECHLESS!!!!

D-

Your pictures are beautiful! Keep doing what you're doing :-) It's good to see how passionate you are about your work!

Words cannot express what images can. If the others pics are anything like these, I wish I was in NYC*sigh*.

~~True~~ the DFW Diva

That Evil Dee Pic is killa.....it speaks for itself. Nothin like the turntable....nothin at all.

The pics are hot I must say. The one Malinda is like damn (She's fly)!!!! The 50 pic is cool. Makes him look chill instead of always looking hard. Damc and kid Rock is nice. KRS and Chris Lighty is dope. The writings on the wall looks like my friends bathroom LOL!!!!

D-Nice:

I had the pleasure of jamming with you during the Table 50 days when I was in grad school. Now I have the pleasure of seeing your art! It is wonderful to see the constant evolution of the 'total artist'. Nice work.
