Leica M8 Photoblog (7): Masta Ace & Marco Polo Video Shoot

ABOVE: Masta Ace & Chip Fu
Yesterday, Chip Fu invited me to the video shoot for an old school friend, Masta Ace and his producer Marco Polo. The shoot was set in Fort Green Park located in Brooklyn, NY. It was for the Marco Polo feat. Masta Ace song entitled "Nostalgia" from the album "Port Authority" which hits the stores on May 15th, 2007. This was true underground hip-hop at its best. Also on set was old school rapper Grand Daddy I.U., Pumpkinhead, and many others.

That was a beautiful day. Thanks to Brooklyn/Hip Hop in general for letting that happen and for allowing me to be a part of it.

Solid. There's nothing like seeing official heads putting in work. For those that don’t know this is true school bizness right here.

I'm glad to see that Granddaddy IU is still alive. I heard rumors that he had died ( lol ) You know how those things go...they're never true.

YES, I just (legally) downloaded 'Someting New' from Grandaddy IU. That song used to be the JOINT! Nas and Kanye need to get together and do a "Where are they Now" meets "Classic" Posse Track. You know? I miss the diversity in Hip Hop.

I have no idea of who any of these people are. I'm looking and the trees in the back ground and how everyone is bundled up. While in Cali we are at 97 degrees. God is awsome God to be able to create such different climates at the same time.
