D- Nice to see the TR-808 is still coming bright and early in the morning. It's great to see your talents continue to grow. Thanks for posting the footage of Kane. The night he performed on VH1 I lost my mind and my phone was ringing off the hook.
I have a new found respect for Black Thought. He is a true MC. Maybe one of the last on earth. He should be protected under the Endangered Species Act. When he did "Men at Work" by Kool G, THAT WAS IT FOR ME!!!!!!!!
I was at the 8:30 show (I saw you in the blue, looking SHARP)By the time me & mine left I was practically hoarse from all the screaming I did. I thought I was junior high again for a hot second. Thanks for the footage
I had the pleasure of going to the New Orleans show. It was on the same day as the Jena 6 rally in Jena,LA.Being in the industry I get an up close and personal view of things. First of all everyone wore black tee shirts in honor of the day. The thing that really made the show a true Honor was that Mos Def accompanied QuestLove into the venue. Once the show started the crowd had No idea of what was to come. When Mos it the stage it was incredible.Big Daddy Kane and Biz Markie are living legends that make me argue the statement that "Hip Hop is Dead"
I went to this tour when they stopped through Baltimore and EVERYONE killed it. It was one of the best concerts that I've ever been to. Good looking out on this footage. Now I can relive the moment.
