Hi D...I've been following your blog for awhile via Nikki...
Two days ago...your video for "My name is D-Nice" came on VH-1...and I got hyped up and was rapping along with you...one of my 9 year old twins came downstairs to see what all the fuss was about...I began to tell her how when I was 13 I had the biggest crush...she was like "Why?" I explained the attractiveness of the high top fade and how yours was so crisp and how that was a good thing! She didn't get it...said that it looked like a box...I said that was the point!!!!
Long story short...she watched the video with me and actually enjoyed it...we ended up having a long conversation about 80's hip hop and what it was like for me. She enjoyed your video...and I enjoyed the fact that she could watch it without all of the stuff they show in current videos (which my girls are not allowed to watch!).
You weren't there...but it was a special moment I had with my child because of you! Thank you!

It was great to meet you in person, again thanks for the insight. Plus I appreciate the shine in the video montage from the Remy/King mag event. I must have taken a picture of Swizz from every angle of the stage area. I posted the images from the event on my site www.DutchLabUSA.com plus King mag picked them up.
