Yesterday, I had a conversation with a homeless gentleman. He expressed to me that part of the joy of being homeless on the streets of New York is that it gives him the opportunity to be closer to his friends.
This is the story of a homeless rapper I met on the streets of Brooklyn. I feel for him because it's quite obvious he suffered a great deal as a child. I don't agree with how he lived his life but everyone deserves to be forgiven.

While out in San Francisco for work, I met this homeless gentleman by the name of Car Wash. Although he initially expressed to me how much he disliked being photographed, he allowed me to capture this image only after I convinced him that I didn't work for the local newspapers.
